how do i add the templates to my flodesk account?

Your download will include a list of 10 template links (one for each template). Click on each link, and you'll be prompted to add the template to your Flodesk account. Simply click the "Start Designing Now" button and it'll add to your template library!

which template should i start with?

I recommend starting with the Welcome and Newsletter Emails. If you wanted to set up a Welcome Flow (I highly recommend it!), you'll start with the Welcome Email and a Content Recap email. From there, I'd move on to your Lead Magnet Flow. Then, you can figure out what individual campaigns you'd like to send, but your main bases are all covered with those.

How do i create workflows in flodesk?

It's way less scary than it seems (there's a tutorial included in your download!)! Just go to the "Workflows" tab, and choose a trigger to start the flow (like being added to a segment). From there, you can click the Plus button, select "Email" from the options list, and choose the template you'd like to use (click the "Duplicate an Email" button). Then, you can customize the email right in the workflow.

Can I reuse sections from different emails?

Yes! Just save the section you want to reuse to your Favorites by clicking the Heart icon that comes up in the options when you click the section. Then, when you're ready to add it to a different email, click the Plus button to add a new section, and select "Favorites" from the options. Then, you can select the block from your list of favorites.

can I use these for my clients' emails?

No. Because Flodesk doesn't currently have a way to manage multiple clients on one account, you can't share template links with your clients. But, really, these templates were designed for YOU and helping support your business. My heart behind making them was that they'd be used to help yourself and your business.

what if i want to change the style?

Have at it! These are meant to be beautiful enough to use as-is, but customizable enough to totally make your own. Go into your Branding settings in your Flodesk profile, add your fonts and colors, then swap out to your heart's content.

(Pro Tip: save commonly-used sections like your header to your Favorites so you can add your styled section into other emails).
