A logo you can trademark
Most font licenses don't allow you to copyright a wordmark as a logo. Generally, the designer must make changes to the font, or create something unique about the mark to trademark it. An exclusive custom font fixes that issue.
Expansive licensing
If you want any kind of exclusivity to your font, you'll generally need something totally custom.
That's where I come in! I'll craft a typeface for your business or client that can't be used by anyone else.
The Process
1. SCOPE + TERMS (50% DEPOSIT)
We'll jump on a call to nail down exactly what vibe you're looking for, what your timeframe and licensing needs look like, and whether I can help! If it's a good match, we'll get a 50% deposit and get rolling!
2. INITIAL DRAWINGS
Depending on the schedule we outline in our initial call, you'll receive a preview of how 3-5 words are coming together, set in your custom font, to ensure it's headed in the right direction before progressing.
3. FONT CONSTRUCTION & REVISIONS
Once the direction is approved, I'll dive into completing your character set and everything else you need, all while keeping you updated along the way.
4. FINAL FILE DELIVERY (FINAL 50%)
Upon final approval of the font, we'll request the final 50% payment and send the files your way!
